New Nekst Updates: Better Emails, Custom Signatures, PDF Reports, and Android App Launch
These updates are going to make your workflow smoother, cleaner, and more professional.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve rolled out four meaningful improvements focused on communication, reporting, and client experience.
Here’s what’s new.
1. Reformatted Email Task and Signature Text Boxes
Email formatting matters. This issue was LONG overdue. We had unnecessary padding around paragraphs making emails appear longer than necessary, email signatures bulky and large gaps & inconsistent spacing for bullet lists.
We upgraded the email task editor and signature text boxes to better handle spacing, formatting, and overall presentation. Signatures now appear more compact and professional, especially when using images or branded layouts.
This update helps ensure that emails sent from Nekst look just as clean as those sent directly from Gmail or Outlook.
For teams focused on consistency and professionalism, this is a subtle but important improvement.
To update your account to our new formatting, go to Settings -> Preferences -> and check the box to "Enable" new formatting (https://app.nekst.com/settings/preferences)
2. Custom Email Signatures Per Agent or Contact
Transaction Coordinators asked for this. We delivered.
You can now add a custom email signature directly to a contact record and insert it into emails using SmartTags like:
#contacts.buyerAgent.signature
This allows TCs to send emails on behalf of agents while displaying the agent’s branded signature instead of their own.
The signature is tied to the contact, not the sender, and works in both Solo and Team Pro accounts.
It supports rich HTML and images, making it easy to match an agent’s existing email signature exactly.

3. Create PDF Reports from Nekst Transactions
You can now generate a clean, shareable PDF report from any transaction.
The Report Generator is a third party tool that securely pulls data from your Nekst account using a free API token. It allows you to choose which transaction details to include and produces a polished PDF in seconds.
This is ideal for:
- Client summaries
- Broker or compliance documentation
- Internal reporting
- Closed transaction archives
Instead of manually copying data into spreadsheets or documents, you can now generate professional reports instantly.
NOTE: This is an application built by Nekst but outside of our full application. This is a temporary option until we build our Report Generator in the application itself.

4. The Nekst Client App Is Now Available on Android
The Nekst Client App is now available on Android in addition to iOS.
Your clients can track important deadlines, view documents, access service providers, and stay informed throughout the transaction, all from their mobile device.
This strengthens the client experience and reinforces your professionalism during every transaction.
