It worked, but it wasn’t scalable. More importantly, it pulled our attention away from helping agents and teams actually grow inside Nekst. We were spending too much time building accounts and not enough time helping you build your business.

That’s what led to one of the biggest structural changes we’ve made to the platform. We’ve officially replaced Detail Box Sets with a smarter, more powerful system we’re calling Markets.

Markets Make Setup Faster and Keep You Future-Proof

With Markets, we’ve taken everything that used to live in a Detail Box Set and grouped it by location. That includes the important dates, contract details, and workflows that match how real estate is actually done in your area.

Now, instead of building your system from scratch, you can simply select your Market. Within seconds, Nekst loads your templates, tasks, and Detail Boxes that align with your local contracts.

When your state or association releases a new contract and changes contract timelines, fields, or requirements, we can update that Market for everyone at once. That means you’ll always be ready to upload new contracts and launch transactions without worrying about technical interruptions.

Built for Multi-Market Agents and Teams

We designed Markets to support the way modern agents and teams actually work. Many users operate across different MLS regions, border states, or associations with slightly different rules and contracts. With Markets, you can load the exact structure you need for each one.

Solo Pro users can add up to 3 Markets to their account. Team Pro users can load up to 6 Markets. Each Market includes the Detail Boxes, workflows, and automation that match your region’s real estate contracts.

Whether you work in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, or beyond, Markets make it easy to stay organized and compliant no matter where your business takes you.

Custom Processes for Everything Else

Not every workflow in your business starts with a purchase contract. That’s why we’ve added a new feature called Custom Processes, built for all the important steps you take outside of listings and closings.

You can create your own process from scratch, complete with Detail Boxes and tasks that match the flow of your business. It’s perfect for things like onboarding new agents, running post-closing follow-up, managing buyer consultations, handling referral requests, or even team hiring workflows.

Custom Processes give you a flexible way to bring more of your operations into Nekst, so everything lives in one system.

For Existing Users: How to Transition to Markets

If you’ve been using Nekst for a while, you’ll notice that Markets work a little differently than the old Detail Box Sets. Because this is a big structural upgrade, there is some one-time setup required to take full advantage of the new system.

Here’s what you’ll need to do to make the switch:

1. Add your local Market(s) to your account
   
2. Recreate any custom Detail Boxes from your existing setup into the new Market
   
3. Copy your workflows from your current Detail Box Sets into the new Market
   
4. Review your Email and SMS Tasks to ensure all SmartTags line up correctly with the new Market

We know that sounds like a lot, and honestly, it is more involved than we’d like. But the benefit is long-term scalability. Once you're set up in a Market, you'll have access to future updates, cleaner automation, and an easier path for uploading contracts without missing a beat.
